THE PRESERVED WORD OF GOD IN ENGLISH
(Why KJV Only?)
(Which Bible Can We Trust?)
(Which Bible is the Most Accurate?)
The
WORDS
of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified
seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt
PRESERVE
them from this generation for ever. (Psalm 12:6-7) (Emphasis mine)
Since the days of Queen Victoria in the 19th century, when the sun never set on
the British Empire to the rise of American might and global influence in the
20th century, English has steadily risen to become the most important
international language.
It is taught as a mandatory second language in countries as far apart as South
Korea and Israel, Germany and India, Russia and South Africa, Baharain and
Taiwan, Spain and Sweden. It is the primary international language in the fields
of medicine, military science, technology, industry, trade, finance, and
education.
Did God preserve his Word perfectly for us
today in English? Or was it inspired and therefore inerrant and
infallible only in the original Hebrew
and Greek manuscripts?
In Psalm 12:6-7 (quoted above) we are taught that
God will preserve his Word in
each generation, forever. The Holy Scriptures were not only inspired
(literally in the Greek, God breathed or
God spoken) in the original languages.
They have also been preserved in English
today. Common sense tells us that if God could move holy men of God (using their
personalities, educations, experience and language idioms) to write exactly what
he wanted written, he can also preserve
those words as they were copied and later translated into English.
God works all things after the counsel of his
own will (Ephesians 1:11). Is anything
too hard for the LORD?
We have the inerrant, infallible Word of God in English,
not just in the original manuscripts.
How do we know?
We know by reading verses like Psalm 12:6-7 (quoted at the beginning of this
article) and Matthew 24:35, which says: Heaven
and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Christ here teaches us that his words will be preserved forever. Where will they
be preserved? His words are preserved in the Holy Bible. Thus it is
important for us to determine
which Bible version is the preserved Word
of God.
Logic tells us that two opposite statements
cannot both be true. For example, two
contradicting Bible versions cannot both be the preserved Word of God.
Therefore, if one version is true, the other is false. (Barry Burton)
Which Bible is the most accurate?
Which Bible can we trust? Why KJV only?
We believe that the King James Version (KJV) is the
preserved Word of God in the
English language today. In future editorials, Lord willing, we hope to show why
from the manuscripts, men, copyrights and serious theological omissions of the
modern versions.

Who is Jesus Christ? Why KJV only? Why Home School your children? Jesus Christ is Lord and the KJV Bible is the Preserved Word of God in English. Finally, Scripture gives us compelling reasons to Home School our children. One very important reason is to lead them to Our Passover Lamb. We recommend Christ-centered Home Schooling Curriculum.
